Types of Monitors

1. CRT [Cathode Ray Tube] Monitor

• CRT monitor is using Cathode Ray Tube display screen.
• Black and White (Monochrome) and Color Monitors.
• They are not used now a days due to bulky in nature and required more power to operate.

2. LCD - Liquid Crystal Display

• Small in size compare to CRT
• Required less power to run
• Light weight and require less space
• Viewing angle is having issue
• 14 inches to 34 inches +

3. LED - Light Emitting Diode Monitors

• They are Small in Size, thin and light weight monitors
• These monitors use less power
• Now a days LED monitors are very common

4. OLED (Organic LED)

• These are High Definition monitors (HD)
• They are normally used for 4K, 5K TV sets
• Large size TVs or Monitors are mostly OLED
• High Definition HD
• Costlier monitors
