Before upgrading your computer from Win 7 to Win 10, make sure that this computer does meet Windows 10 minimum hardware requirement criteria.
Now you have to boot your computer into Windows 7 OS and then attach Windows 10 bootable USB drive.
Run Windows 10 Setup.exe and follow the Upgrade steps, the system will reboot multiple times during the setup.
The upgrade process will take more time than clean installation.
