Upgrading path for Operating Systems
Windows 7 Pro - 64bit → Upgrade to → Windows 10 Pro - 64bit
In the upgrade process the old OS gets converted into a New OS with the same settings.
Users , Profiles, data will be the same as per previous OS.
Applications running on Win 7 may get upgraded or you have to install some of them again. Basic software is upgraded easily.
